What is Youth MHFA Lite?
Youth MHFA Lite is an introductory three hour awareness course offering an overview of young people’s mental health and mental health issues. It is intended to introduce the Youth MHFA course to the general public.

What will I learn on a Youth MHFA Lite course?
The aims of Youth MHFA Lite are to enable participants to:
__Gain a wider understanding of some issues surrounding young people’s mentalhealth
__Work more effectively with young people living with mental health problems
__Understand the aims of the Youth MHFA course
__Experience a taste of the contents of the Youth MHFA course.

Our instructors provide a very safe learning environment and are trained to support you throughout the whole course. If you don’t feel comfortable joining in certain bits, then don’t. We won’t make you do something you aren’t comfortable with. We value these courses at £75 per person.

You’ll receive a Youth MHFA Lite manual that you can take away with you at the end of the course and receive a certificate from MHFA England.
