i-act gains accreditation with The Royal College of Psychiatrists, By i-ACT (for Positive Mental Health)

We are thrilled to announce that the i-act (for positive mental health wellbeing) training courses have been officially accredited by The Royal College of Psychiatrists and we are, of course, delighted with this news.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists is the professional medical body responsible for education and training, and in setting and raising standards of psychiatry in the United Kingdom. The Royal College of Psychiatrists work to secure the best outcomes for people with mental illness, learning difficulties and developmental disorders by promoting excellent mental health services, training outstanding psychiatrists, promoting quality and research, setting standards and being the voice of psychiatry.
At i-act, we were therefore delighted when The Royal College of Psychiatrists contacted us and expressed an interest in accrediting our evidence-based i-act courses and subsequently, over the last 18 months, we have worked with a team of psychiatrists, quality and accreditation staff, and support staff at The Royal College of Psychiatrists to achieve our accredited status. We appreciate all the work that The Royal College of Psychiatrists have dedicated to this and appreciate the hard work of our own quality and accreditation team at i-act.
At the heart of our objectives at i-act has always been to provide quality, evidence-based information concerning mental health and wellbeing issues, so that our course participants can be confident that they are receiving information which they can trust and rely upon. We therefore wish to thank everyone involved in helping us to achieve our accreditation with The Royal College of Psychiatrists and we look forward to continuing and furthering our work in promoting positive mental health and wellbeing within workplaces and communities around the world.
